Confirm the provider order and use full name plus date of birth before specimen collection.

🧼Prepare Safely

Perform hand hygiene, use required PPE, disinfect the surface, and gather all supplies before beginning.

Check the System

Confirm the correct product, storage, expiration, package integrity, and required quality-control status.

📝Document & Escalate

Record results immediately and notify the provider of positive, critical, abnormal, invalid, or unexpected findings as required.

!
The manufacturer IFU controls the exact procedure.

Do not use a generic drop count, timing window, specimen type, or interpretation rule when the product instructions differ. Never perform patient testing when required quality control fails.
